1. Can LiteMiser Voltage Controllers be fitted retrospectively?
Yes, the majority of units have been fitted in existing facilities.

2. Will the Lighting controllers reduce the intensity of my lighting?
No, when applied to fluorescents and discharge lights there is no discernable impact on lighting levels.

3. Will it take long to install the LiteMiser unit?
A typical installation of a 3 phase system will take less than 2 hours. The disruption to the power supply will usually last no longer than 15 minutes.

4. How can I justify a LiteMiser in my business?
Electric Green will conduct a survey of your premises without obligation. We will estimate the electrical cost savings and let you know what your annual savings will be. The unit is maintenance free and very reliable. Payback will depend upon consumption and electricity rates but experience tells us that you are unlikely to find a better return on your capital.

5. What are the other benefits of fitting a Voltage Controller?
Reducing the voltage to the optimum levels required by the equipment will extend the life of motors, pumps or bulbs. This means less frequent bulb changes, or motor rewinds and less maintenance costs.

6. Do voltage controllers operate on equipment other than lighting circuits?
The principle applies equally to computers, motors, pumps etc and significant savings can be made on mixed circuits although the voltage reduction will not be as great as it is with discharge lights.

7. Can I trial a unit?
Trials can be arranged subject to certain conditions. Just contact us and ask or speak to our customers.
