Warehousing:

Warehouses represent an ideal opportunity to significantly reduce electrical consumption. They tend to be 24hour / 7day operation with high bay discharge lighting and fluorescents in office areas. LiteMisers have saved in excess of 20% of the lighting costs in many such operations. The graph shows dramatically the impact of the Lighting Energy Controller in reducing the voltage and currents supplied to the warehouse circuits without any detrimental impact.

In this situation the customer has saved 23% of the electricity cost and realised a payback in under 18 months.

Factories:

A major employer in County Durham operates a 24 hour operation 5.5 days per week in a very competitive industry. Looking for ways to reduce their energy consumption, cut costs and meet their environmental targets they approached Electric Green.

Electric Green supplied two 3 phase LiteMiser Voltage Controllers for their main production halls which were lit predominantly with fluorescent lamps. The savings realised were significant at 21% and exceeded management expectations.

Car Parks:

A major UK City Council was one of the first to trial a LiteMiser in one of its multi-storey car parks. The specification called for single and 3 phase voltage controllers. Despite the inhospitable climate in January, or maybe because of it, installation of the single phase unit took less than an hour. With lighting on for extended periods the units offered a payback of less than 2 years and contribute to the Council’s drive to reduce its energy consumption.
